Strength and tone is a muscle building and conditioning class focusing on high repetitions and moderate to light weight. Exercises will utilize a mixture of dumbbells, resistance bands, and body weight to sculpt and define.
A Yoga Fusion class brings together traditional Pilates, strength training, ballet inspired movements and yoga postures.
During this class we will explore various styles of yoga. All levels can participate together with a plethora of modifications and props when needed.
The word Hatha literally means force. During this class the (asanas) postures are performed more slowly with static holds. Ha means sun and ta means moon. You will channel your vital energy source through mindfulness and pranayama. We will flow dynamically and with direction of attention.
Focusing on the release of mind-body tension and bringing the nervous system into a state of healing. Props are used to either deepen or ease the stretch. Yoga nidra is a guided meditation practice that focuses on cultivating multiple levels of well-being.
If you are new to Yoga or have limited mobility this class is ideal for you . We will move through very basic asanas while focusing on form and yogic breath. Please note : You do need to be able to get on and off the floor.
This slow moving class is a gentler version of a vinyasa flow class. Here we link breath and movement but move at a slower pace. Postures are held longer to lengthen, strengthen and bring calm to the body .
Get ready for a total body workout. Light weights are incorporated in the routines with low impact cardio and toning moves .
Yin Yoga is a gentle and relaxing all level class that works deeply into the connective tissues and joints of hips, pelvis and lower spine. Asanas are held longer for the body to release and heal.
A vigorous vinyasa flow class in a heated room using health benefiting infrared heat . Bring a towel and water get ready for a heart pumping yoga practice. Please do not eat a least 2 hours before class . Not recommend for those with high blood pressure or beginners.Please consult your physician if you have any health ailments prior to attending class.
Get your day started out right with this fun and ever changing upbeat cardio class . We will use various gym equipment and incorporate different fitness modalities like interval training, kick boxing, step aerobics and such much more .
